Nice Outing

Yday, we had a nice outing at Ahmadi Gardens, with good friends of ours. G is DH's best friend, and his wife, D has become a very good friend of mine. Their 1 1/2 yr old son, K is absolutely adorable. We had a very good time in the gardens. The climate was real warm and sunny.The gardens have everything, with rides for kids, nice playing area, few animals and birds like deer, ostrich, sheep etc. Bad thing - I didn't take my camera. D had one, but we were all busy enjoying one of our last outings before the winters..LOL!! We had taken food from home, but still ended up buying Chicken Biriyani from outside....In the evening, all of us went for shopping at MAX..I bought quite few items of winter clothing..And then we stopped at Mr. Bakers..Yeah..it was D's bday 2 days back... So, we were all treated to a wonderful chocolate cake "Ganashe"... Absolutely yummy...
Thursday evening, we had gone with my SIL to ""Darbar"", an Indian restaurant to celebrate my niece's bday.. So whole weekend for us was like - Food, Food and more Food!! I must have really gained a few kilos after all that eating. Today, I am going to make a simple meal at home - rice, dal curry..(See, again I am talking of food...LOL!!)
N today has a picnic at school. They are being taken to Touristic Park...I am hoping that the climate remains sunny as yday.. And, I have caught a very bad bout of cough.. Couldn't sleep at all last night....Have to go to the doc today...
